Aisling is a Director, Occupational Therapy Manager, and a Senior Occupational Therapist. She achieved her First Class degree in Occupational Therapy in Australia. Subsequently, she has gained valuable experience working with children in Australia, Belgium and the United Kingdom. She has worked in the community with early intervention, brain injury rehabilitation services, mainstream schooling, special educational settings and in private practice.
Aisling has specialist experience and post graduate training in Sensory Integration, Postural Management, Assistive Technology, Feeding Difficulties (SOS Approach to Feeding), Constraint Induced Movement Therapy and DIR/Floortime.
This experience has allowed Aisling to use her wide skills base when assessing and treating children with a broad range of developmental and neurological difficulties. Aisling is passionate about working collaboratively with both children and their families supporting them to integrate the strategies used in her sessions into their daily lives. She believes that therapy should be fun and motivating to allow children to learn and will use an individual and child focused approach to achieve this.
Aisling currently works in clinic and schools, carrying out individual and group therapy, provides education and training to schools and parents, and completes assessments.
Outside of work Aisling enjoys travelling, coffee, live music, exploring London and reading.
