Cécile is a Speech and Language Therapist. She qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from Leeds Beckett University and a Masters in Speech, Language and Communication Needs in Schools from University College of London (UCL) and City University of London.
Cécile works with a varied paediatric caseload from early years through to mainstream secondary school. She has experience of working both in Mauritius and in the UK. These settings have gifted her the opportunity to carry out assessments and work alongside children who have: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Language Disorder, Speech and Language delays, Speech Sound Disorders, Global Developmental Delay, Stammering and Pragmatic Language Impairment. She is trained in Makaton Sign Language level 1 and 2 as well as working with Bilingual Children with Speech and Language Difficulties.
Cécile is a certified member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is multilingual and speaks English, French and Mauritian Creole.
Outside of work, Cécile enjoys travelling, photography, cooking, yoga, hiking and spending time with friends and family
