Gemma is a Speech and Language Therapist with a postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy from City University, London. She has experience of working with children and young adults with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties, across NHS, LEA and private practice services. Currently, Gemma carries out assessment and intervention in clinic, schools and a further education college setting, covering a wide range of communication difficulties including ASD, learning difficulties, hearing impairment, fluency and language and speech difficulties for children and young adults ranging from 0-19+ years of age.
Gemma has a special interest in working with children and young adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Special Educational Needs (SEN). She is a certified member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
