Maria received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the Second University of Naples ‘SUN’ (Italy) in 2016. She is currently doing a Postgraduate at City, University of London in Advanced Practice in Speech, Language and Communication. She practised Speech Therapy in several settings including community centres, university clinics, private clinics and private practice. Most of Maria’s experience has been in private practice and community centres where she worked extensively with toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children and adults.
She continues to specialise in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of speech, language and communication disorders. These include expressive/receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, stuttering, Down Syndrome, semantic-pragmatic disorders, voice disorders, and other developmental delays. Maria also has experience in the evaluation and treatment of acquired language impairments.
