Mikaela qualified with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from LaTrobe University, Australia. Mikaela spent over a year in Australia working within the community supporting individuals across the life span with a variety of diagnosis and challenges. Since relocating to London she has been working in a variety of Schools supporting the children, staff and families to gain a greater level of independence. She has enjoyed developing her skills in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Early Intervention. Mikaela enjoys collaborating with the Speech and Language team and the child’s support network to ensure a streamlined approach to therapy and maximise the child’s potential.
Mikaela started working for the London Children’s Practice in January 2018 and works with children within the clinic, families’ homes and both Mainstream and Special Education schools. She has a passion for supporting children and their families to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Outside of work Mikaela enjoys travelling, fitness and brunch with her friends and family.
