Georgia is the Chief Operations Officer of the London Children’s Practice and a Senior Speech and Language Therapist. She has a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. Georgia is passionate about supporting children and their families to achieve their full potential.
Georgia has extensive experience in Paediatric Speech Therapy both in the UK and internationally. During her career she has provided therapy to children and young people with a range of speech, language and social communication disorders within schools, community health and acute settings.
Georgia works with clients of all age ranges with diverse speech and language needs including Speech Delay/Disorder, Language Delay/Disorder, and Social Communication difficulty, Higher Order Language difficulties with older Primary and Secondary students, and speech sound disorders such as children with Apraxia.
Georgia has a special interest in children with complex needs and has particular experience providing therapy to this population. She has worked extensively with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (including Aspergers Syndrome), and administers the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) as part of the Autism Diagnostic Clinic at the London Children’s Practice.
Georgia is dysphagia trained and has experience treating children with feeding disorders, including sensory-based feeding disorders.
Outside of work Georgia enjoys cooking, reading, yoga and going to the cinema. Georgia also has a passion for travelling and doing cryptic crosswords.
