Sasha StarrOccupational Therapist

    Sasha qualified as an Occupational Therapist from Brunel University London. During her studies, she experienced setting up an occupational therapy service within a mainstream school, and soon realised her true passion was working with children within a school setting. She joined the London Children’s Practice in June 2018 and has an interest in working with children of all ages and their families to help support their ability to participate in everyday activities as independently as possible. She especially enjoys supporting children with mental health and resilience difficulties.

    Sasha currently works with children in schools-based settings, supporting with direct therapy and universal approaches. Sasha is trained in the Zones of Regulation Programme and the CO-OP (Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance) approach. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, including People with Learning Disabilities; and Children, Young People and Families Specialist Sections.

    Sasha’s interests include singing, pilates, travel, silk painting, involvement in service projects and also works as a Wedding Registrar/celebrant on ad-hoc weekends.
